SwitchView

Our first product release is Kahana SwitchView. Kahana SwitchView is a tool for network technicians that enables access to view useful information about switches being serviced without the need to carry around a laptop or access a workstation. Network troubleshooting tools such as ping and traceroute are also accessible from the application.

Accessible information includes:

• Port status summary
• Detailed port status
• Port QoS configuration
• MAC address tables
• ARP cache
• VLAN port configuration
• IP routing tables
• Environmental status

An interface is also provided to ping and traceroute.

This release supports Cisco IOS (such as Catalyst) switching devices with HTTP or SSH access enabled. Future releases will include support for more platforms. Your mobile device must be able to reach the switch via WiFi and you must have administrative access to the switch.
